Chief Product Officer

Product, Innovation and Software leader who has worked at senior levels with a wide range of businesses, from start-ups to F500, from SaaS to Semiconductor, and as hands on executive and management consulting partner.  His experience includes product management leadership as well as process and organizational design and improvement.  He has also led the software development team of streaming data platforms in the network monitoring and application performance management space.  He has helped companies in the SaaS space optimize their product development from both a strategic and operational perspective.  Ari has led agile and lean transformation for the development teams of a $1B network equipment unit, as well as led a critical product launch recovery, organizing efforts for a $500m software/SaaS company to successfully introduce a new product platform in one quarter.  He helped develop the domain-oriented application refactoring strategy for a major insurance management platform company. 

He has a PhD in physics from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from Cornell, and a BA from Princeton.  He was most recently SVP of Engineering and Product for Netreo which was acquired by BMC software.  He was a partner for PwC/PRTM management consulting.  He also was one of the developers of NAMD2, the continuing gold standard for large-scale biomolecular simulation studies which at the time was the first ground-up large-scale distributed parallel computing platform capable of simulating million atom structures.  He also helped advise startups in technical and M&A strategy, including AI-technical strategy for security platform SentryAI.  He was also co-founder of a software startup from high-school which continues to operate to this day.
